| Azuay province is situated south of Ecuador limited north by the provinces of Guayas and Cañas, the east by the Morona Santiago province, south of Zamora Chinchipe, Loja and gold and the west by the provinces of the gold and Guayas.
Its capital city of Cuenca and has a total area of 8,000 km ² where they live about half a million inhabitants. Besides the city of Cuenca include the cities of Chordeleg, Pan, Gualaceo Nabón, Pucara, Santa Isabel, San Fernando, Sevilla Gold.
