| The state of Canar is in the central part of Ecuador on the border with the northern states of Chimborazo, Morona Santiago in the east, of Azuay in the southern and west Guayas.
It has a population of about 200,000 living in 4,000 km ² scarce available to this small Ecuadorian province taking the city as capital of Azogues.
