| Cotopaxi is one of the small provinces ecuatoriasnas found in the central part of the country bordering the provinces of Pichincha in the north east Napo, Tungurahua and Bolivar in the south and river on the west side.
In its 6,500 km ² hosts about 400,000 Ecuadorians that is shared by different populations including the capital Latacunga. Its main attraction is the Cotopaxi National Park where the volcano found that names the department also excellent scenery for tourists who love nature and ecology.
